with Id's Quake 3 Arena and various high resolution time
demo runs.


Quake III
is highly dependant on memory bandwidth, be it platform
bandwidth at low resolutions or video bandwidth at high
resolutions. The benefits of the Lightspeed Memory
Architecture II are apparent at 1600x1200 as both GeForce4
cards outperform the GeForce3 Ti500 by 25 percent.
Anti-Aliasing
Tests:



Anti-aliasing further taxes both the GeForce3 and GeForce4
processors. However, since the GeForce4 Ti 4600 enjoys the
benefit of NVIDIAs Accuview circuitry and the LMA II, it is
able to perform 39 percent better than the GeForce3 Ti500.
Running at 310/735MHz, the V8460 achieves 73 frames per
second an 11 percent increase.
Anisotropic
Filtering:

Anisotropic
filtering performance doesnt improve much between the
GeForce3 and GeForce4 processors. Similarly,
overclocking the V8460 to 310/735MHz only yields an
additional five percent.
