AquaMark3 Anisotropic Filtering Performance - No AA
Under water performance metrics

We won't comment too much on each of the test runs we did but rather let the numbers do the talking and provide some quick quantitative analysis after each round of testing.

In these tests, we set AA to zero and adjusted Aniso Filtering accordingly.  All tests above were run at 1024X768 with the "Very High Quality" setting in the benchmark.  The first thing to note here is that NVIDIA's new Detonator 51.75 drivers, provide a solid boost of about 5 - 10%, for Anisotropic Filtering in AquaMark3, versus the Detonator 45.23 drivers.  The question is, is it at the expense of image quality?  Then there is the Radeon 9800 Pro, coming in neck and neck with the GeForce FX card, with only 1 - 3% delta depending on the setting.  The Radeon 9800 Pro actually beats out the GeForce FX 5900U by about that same margin, with the current WHQL 45.23 Detonators.
