Toshiba Adds To Business Laptop Lineup

Toshiba announced the new Tecra A11 and the new Qosmio X500 laptops for business users. The company also added to the Satellite Pro Series with the new Satellite Pro L450 and Satellite Pro L500 business laptops.

The new Tecra A11 is thinner and lighter than its predecessor and features a 10-key numeric keypad. The A11 also offers the new 2010 Intel Core processors, a 15.6-inch display, and a number of optional upgrades such as the NVIDIA GeForce 512MB graphics card.

The Qosmio X500 laptop targets users with demanding computing needs such as engineers, designers and content creators. This laptop features a 2010 Intel Core i7-720QM quad-core processor with Turbo Boost Technology, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M graphics with 1GB GDDR5 graphics memory, and up to 8GB of RAM. The X500 has an 18.4-inch diagonal widescreen display, 500GB 7200rpm hard drive, HDMI display output with HD support, an eSATA/USB Combo port, and a Blu-ray disc drive.

Targeting the small business professional, the new Satellite Pro laptops offer Intel Core 2 Duo processors, webcams, and 15.6-inch displays. Two Satellite Pro L500 models also include Genuine Windows XP Professional with Windows 7 Professional upgrade media.
