System memory isn't the cause of your high energy bill at home -- check your fully loaded entertainment center instead -- but when it comes to servers and server farms, low power memory can have a real impact on a company's bottom line. These are low-profile, eco-friendly DDR3 memory modules featuring lower operating voltages. There are five new dual-channel kits in all, each one 4GB in capacity, rated at 1600MHz, and standing just 0.72 inches short, equal to a 39 percent reduction compared to regular RDIMMS, Super Talent says.
