Skype Leaves Beta On The Mac, Now Available To Download

The way people communicate has changed drastically, and Skype has played a major role in that. The VoIP calling company has made it easier than ever to dial up anyone, regardless of where they are, and with over 20 million people logged in each day, it's easy to see why this revolution is only growing. While mobile clients have obviously been huge focal points lately, the company is this week introducing an all-new desktop client for the Mac.

OS X users can now download the latest version, which has left Beta and officially gone Gold. This build also includes the Group Video Calling feature as part of Skype's premium package, as well as a number of interface tweaks. It's available right now to download, and if you'd rather watch a video to check things out before committing, that's above.
