Opera Wants To Take Your TV Online With Comtrend Set-top Box
Opera Software is working with Comtrend to deliver a new broadband TV service via set-top boxes. Opera's browser will power Comtrend's STB-7007 next-generation set-top box. With the browser, users will be able to access context-sensitive information while watching TV. For example, with the technology, you could buy a song while watching MTV or you could tweet about a sporting event directly from the TV while watching the big game.
