The LaCie XtremKey actually is pretty extreme, with versions available that hold up to 64GB of storage inside an enclosure that's made to withstand the elements. It uses a premium flash memory modules inside a 2mm metal pipe casing, and it's sealed with wear-resistant screw threads and a rubber O-ring in order to make it waterproof for up to 100 meters.
