Corsair has rolled out a new case that might be perfect for the PC gamer or enthusiast out there who wants to cram a huge amount of hardware into the chassis. The case is called the Obsidian Series 1000D and it is constructed from four smoked tempered glass panels. The case has RGB lighting on the front and you can see all the fancy hardware inside thanks to the glass panels.

One of the most interesting aspects of the giant chassis is that it has enough room inside for a complete E-ATX and Mini-ITX computer system, PSU and all. Two complete PCs would allow you to stream video from one machine and play games on the other at the same time. With space enough for two complete computers inside one chassis, you need some robust cooling and the Obsidian Series 1000D chassis has room for 18 fans or four 480mm radiators. The chassis also comes with an integrated smart lighting and fan controller that uses Corsair iCUE software.

To keep the chassis tidy with wiring for a pair of PCs inside, the 1000D uses a French-door-style rear storage compartment for wires. A PSU cover hides all the wires coming from the power supply. On the front panel of the chassis are a pair of USB 3.1 Gen-2 Type-C ports along with four USB 3.0 ports. Two mounting options are offered for the GPUs inside the rig with a rotatable GPU bracket to mount graphics cards vertically or horizontally. There are also several pump and reservoir mounting points inside the chassis.

To make installing large radiators easier, the radiator trays slide out of the chassis and are tool-less. Up to five 3.5-inch hard drives and six 2.5-inch SSDs can fit in the chassis using a dedicated storage compartment that hides the storage devices out of sight for a cleaner look. The Corsair Obsidian Series 1000D is available right now directly from Corsair and other retailers with an MSRP of $499.99.
