T-Mobile USA Selling HTC One Next Week: Starts At $100

T-Mobile USA's Simple Choice plans are out in full effect, so you may be interested to know how a contract-free (but not prepaid) version of HTC's One will suit your wallet. The carrier has today announced the upcoming availability of the HTC One. It'll ship with support for LTE as well as 3G. The HTC One will be available online beginning April 19 at http://t-mobile.com/htc-one. Beginning April 24, the HTC One will be available in additional select retail channels. T-Mobile's new smartphone will cost $99.99 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $20 for well-qualified T-Mobile customers 0% APR O.A.C.

After doing a bit of math, that comes out to $580 for the phone. If you choose to leave T-Mobile at any point prior to 24 months being up, you'll have to finish paying off the phone to walk away. Can't say that seems a heck of a lot better than existing contract carriers with far more coverage, unless you seriously like switching carriers year-to-year.
