Samsung S9 UHD TV - 4K High Def, 85-Inch, Preorder This Month for Only $40K

Although it’s a TV that you’ll probably only find in exclusive high-end sports bars and supervillain lairs, Samsung’s S9 UHD TV (UN85S9) is up for preorder at the end of this month. The 85-inch monster boasts 4K high definition and will retail for $39,999.

The Samsung S9 UHD TV, which wowed audiences at CES this year, features Samsung Black Pro technology for incredibly deep blacks and bright whites, upscaling technology designed to goose HD and Full HD content up to UHD quality, and 120W of sound pumped through a 3-way 2.2-channel system.


Along with the debut of the S9 UHD TV, Samsung is coming out with a redesigned Smart Hub; the Smart Evolution Kit to help users upgrade their TV hardware without having to buy a whole new set; Samsung’s S-Recommendation content discovery tool; Smart Interaction voice- and gesture recognition; and new F8000 LED and F8500 Plasma Smart TVs, among other home entertainment products.


Samsung has some amazing products here; if they can work the prices down to a remotely reasonable range, people will go gaga over them.
