Razer Ups The Ante With OLED-Infused Sabertooth Xbox 360 Controller

Did you end up with a new Xbox 360 from Santa? Lucky you! And now, Razer has a controller than may honestly be superior to the first-party edition that Microsoft shipped with the system. The company has just announced the new Sabertooth Xbox 360 controller, which offers up 6 additional buttons, an OLED screen, and a hugely comfortable grip. Six additional remappable buttons - two at each shoulder of the controller and two removable rocking switches at the bottom - allow gamers to re-bind any choice of buttons on the controller for easy access. A built-in OLED screen is also included, which allows customization of the controller’s many features. Gamers may remap the multi-function buttons, adjust the analog stick’s sensitivity and save profiles:  the display visualizes their modified preferences.

Razer claims that the innovations and tweaks implemented here " increase actuation speed, reduces fatigue, and encourages natural hand posturing for a more precise and comfortable gaming experience." It also ships with a fully detachable and a carrying case, encouraging you to travel with it in the event that you'd need to school someone at a different locale. Better still? Current owners of the Razer Onza or Onza Tournament Edition gaming controllers will be eligible for a coupon code for a discount on the purchase of the new Razer Sabertooth elite gaming controller for Xbox 360 on the RazerStore. Nice gesture, huh?

It'll ship by the end of this month for $79.99 -- hardly cheap for an Xbox 360 controller, but hardcore gamers may argue that it's worth it.
