Overzealous Retailer Jumps The Gun, Leaks Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Specs Online

September's shaping up to be a busy month in mobile. That's because Apple is expected to launch its next iPhone model on September 9, and almost a full week beforehand, Samsung's Unpacked launch event is scheduled to take place on September 3, which it will hold in Beijin, Berlin, and New York at the same time. It's very likely Samsung will use the event as a launchpad for its Galaxy Note 4, though we may already know the full spec sheet.

Erafone, an online retailer in Indonesia, has already made live a product page for the Galaxy Note 4, which it currently shows as being out of stock. It's very likely that Erafone prepped the page in advance with details provided by Samsung, and either inadvertently to too excitedly made the page visible to everyone ahead of the phone's release.

Erafone Listing for Galaxy Note 4

According to the listing, the Galaxy Note 4 will tote a 5.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 2560x1440 resolution and 515 PPI pixel density, either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core chip clocked at 2.5GHz or Exynos 5433 octa-core processor (four 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 and four Cortex-A57 cores), 4GB of RAM, 16/32/64GB of internal storage, microSD card slot with support for up to 128GB, 16-megapixel rear-facing autofocus camera with optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash, microUSB 3.0, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Android 4.4.3 KitKat.

If Erafone isn't already in possession of Galaxy Note 4 devices or otherwise didn't receive a list of specs from Samsung, then it did a good job of rounding up all the leaked info prior to today and filling out a product page, which would be unusual for an online retailer.
