The RoHS-compliant RS485M-M motherboard takes full advantage of the latest ATi(R) RadeonTM Xpress 1100 integrated graphics chipset to deliver one feature-packed 3D powerhouse for casual enthusiasts. The ECS Elitegroup RS485M-M motherboard is also one of the first Windows(R) VistaTM ready integrated solutions, which means users can take full advantage of the graphically-rich user interface Vista offers.

The RS485M-M supports socket AM2 versions of AMD AthlonTM FX, Athlon64 X2 Dual-Core, Athlon 64 processors as well as AMD's new AM2 Energy Efficient microprocessors. AMD's new lineup of low power processors provides 35W and 65W versions of AM2 processors for increased energy savings. New with the AMD socket AM2 is the official support for DDR2 memory.
