Droid DNA by HTC is First Android Phone to Sport a 5-inch, 1080p Display
Your 65-inch high definition television probably boasts a Full HD 1080p (1920x1080) display. You know what else does? HTC's brand new Droid DNA, which is purportedly the first smartphone in the U.S. to scale that kind of resolution down to a 5-inch display. That works out to 440 pixels per inch (ppi), compared to 306 ppi on Apple's iPhone 5 and 318 ppi on Samsung's Galaxy S III. Well played, HTC.
A 5-inch screen with tightly packed pixels isn't the only thing in the DNA's, uh, DNA. It also sports a scintillating 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (no microSD card slot, unfortunately), 8MP rear-facing camera, 2.1MP front-facing camera, Beats Audio with a built-in headset amplifier, NFC support, and various other goodies all covered in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
