Colorful PC Audio From Edifer

We just got our hands on some very cool images from Edifer that we thought you'd all like to see.  If you're unfamiliar with Edifer, they're a long time manufacturer of specialized speaker systems, based in China with a North American office in Vancouver, Canada.  They actually won an honoree award at this year's Consumer Electronics Show for their Rainbow wireless speaker system.  But the company also produces some wild multimedia speaker systems designed for PC enthusiasts...

What you see pictured here are Edifer's S730 Signature Series Multimedia Speakers and E3350 pyramids.  The S730 Signature Series Multimedia Speaker system boasts a power output of 75W × 2 (satellites) + 150W (sub-woofer) and a frequency response of 23 Hz - 20KHz, with a Signal to Noise Ratio of ≥90dBA. The speakers feature wooden enclosures with a piano finish on satellite speakers.  The sub has a 10-inch long throw, front-firing driver with dual passive radiators on both sides of the subwoofer enclosure to exaggerate the bass, and the while system has a multi-function wired control with 3-inch LCD display, 7-level backlight dimmer, and slim remote control.  Digital coaxial and optical inputs are also available on the system.

Aside from their funky appearance, the E3350 speaker system features a downward firing subwoofer, and 2-way, magnetically shielded satellites with soft silk dome tweeters.  The satellite enclosures are built from an anti-resonant composite material and the sub has separate bass level adjustment for fine tuning.  The E3350's also have a cool wired controller with a red Halo-style power indicator that includes a headphone jack and an input for portable media and CD players.  The E3350's should be avaialble at large retailers (RadioShack, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.) for about $99 in the not too distant future.
