Best Buy Slashes 3rd Generation iPad Pricing Up to 30 Percent
We won't go so far as to call this a fire sale, but holy moly, Best Buy is offering some deep discounts on Apple's 3rd generation iPad tablets. We're talking price savings up to 30 percent with prices starting as low as $315 for a 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi, down from its normal selling price of $450. That's a savings of $135, though the biggest discount is available on the 64GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model, which has been reduced to $546, down $234 from its regular price.

You can almost hear the groans of existing 3rd generation iPad owners who just witnessed the resale value of their devices fall through the floor. For tablet shoppers, however, these are some tantalizing discounts. The 16GB model, for example, is now cheaper than a regularly priced iPad mini, which Apple often touts as the lowest priced iPad ever.
Speaking of which, Mac Mall cut the price on a handful of iPad mini and 4th generation iPad models, though they're not as significant as Best Buy's discounts above.
