Amped Wireless Reveals TAN1 Wi-Fi Adapter For Windows 8

Windows 8 is expected to be a key player at CES 2013, despite the fact that Microsoft's severely lessening its presence at the show after this year. As the products and accessories begin to roll out, Amped Wireless is introducing what it calls the first high-power Wi-Fi adapter for Windows 8, enabling Win8-based tablets and notebooks to pack up to 3x the range and performance versus stock. The TAN1 connects to the USB port (standard or micro USB) of the device, requires no additional software set up and provides instant long range Wi-Fi connectivity.
