We'll list our system
specs again for you here. The only items
needed to complete our setup were the CPU,
RAM, a Hard Drive and a Graphics Card.

Overclocking
With The GigabyteGA-7ZX |
Surprise,
surprise |
|
We
honestly didn't expect much in this area with the
Gigabyte board. Without CPU multiplier
adjustments, Athlon over-clocking is usually
uneventful. However, Gigabyte's "EasyTune
III" software saved the day!
Without
the aid of CPU Core Voltage or Multiplier
adjustments we were still able to successfully
over-clock our T-Bird with full stability at
833MHz. This particular T-Bird has been proven
with multiplier adjustments at 1GHz. However, 833
was a lot better than we expected.

For a
$100 CPU, bang for your buck with a T-Bird / KT133
based system is very enticing. The memory
bandwidth scores are also impressive and best most
Intel platforms at the same clock speed.
