    It looks like DDR3 might actually be to the point where it's worthy of consideration for new rigs.

    Does OCZ already have a DDR3 that runs at 2000MHz?

    The competition is really getting furious and exciting . . . and you're right . . . the more . . . the faster the prices will go down. Big Smile

    No problem. Corsair even has a 2133MHz 2GB kit if you have a spare $520 to throw around

    DDR2 is still king of price/ performance, Much like back in the day when the LGA775 scoket supported DDR2 and 939 supported DDR and DDR was the way to go until DDR2 cought up and surpassed DDR in price for performance.

     Well of course . . . that's because the mainstream PC users has it in their systems . . . and most of these users are not into upgrades not until their PC's cronks up Big Smile . . . put in mind that upgrading to DDR3 will affect a lot of components which will cost a lot.
