    Has anyone else noticed the advertisement frames (rarely) missing, when they bring up HotHardware over the last few days?

    I've noticed the adverts not coming up on three or four occasions now (but that's out of hundreds of reloads), and it appears to be because abm.hothardware.com is not resolving.

    This may not be any problem with HotHardware's (actually Dynamic DNS Services Inc's) name servers, it could be my machine, router, or even my ISP's DNS.  It's just peculiar that it's only happening for host abm.hothardware.com; while the main hothardware.com host resolves fine during these instances.

    I'll check resolution via centralops.net or some other 3rd party nslookup the next time I see it, to determine where the actual problem is - if this isn't already a known issue.

    using openDNS, i got through to the proper IP (from what i can tell)

     

    using a myriad of nqt (network query tool) hosting sites, i saw many of them have trouble on the changeover from data393.net to the next hop

    i'd guess it is your DNS
