Magnavox unit i was buying from aarons. I was 2 months from actually owning it. They told my wife to bring it in tommorrow and they will hand us a loaner till it is repaired. So I guess we will see if they stand good on it.

True at least i still owed them 2 payments so it should be fixxed. I'm just not very trusting of company's. Company's historically do not show the same loyalty to their customers as the customer shows to the company.

I've never understood why people do that.

Re: Having a bad day ...32 incher gone

Brand loyalty is a corner stone of american tradition. Don't believe me tell a ford owner chevy's better. Americans have a need to feel that a brand name is superior to all otheirs and that they shouldn't even listen when other products are disccussed. It is a product of consumerizm and actually stems from a time 3-5 generations ago when individuels owned most trade like say a blacksmith. Near all work was faith based and totally done on trust. Then once the bond was forged it was unshakeable. Unfortunantly todays companys are in no way as honest as the blacksmith was. . In todays bussiness it is based on diminishing returns and marketing tactics. No sincerity what so ever. Today folks need to be less a consumer and more a comparitive and informed purchaser.

You miss out on so much great stuff that way. I have been running firefox since the day it came out, but I still try new versions of opera, flock, and safari, and even IE. On the other hand I have a Ipod and a while back got a Creative Zen. Love the Zen so much more.

    Sorry to hijack your thread.

Re: Having a bad day ...32 incher gone

Just got back from aaron's  Angry  I am so pissed off right now. They said that the 6yr old dell 26 not a 32 notice must have failed from a power surge....A 6yr old monitor could possibly failed from being to old..... So no loaner and i have a good feeling there about to stiff me for 1500 bucks.[:'(]  i feel like throwing bricks threw all their windows.
