    HotHardware Independence Day Sweepstakes Winner!

    Last month, we announced an exciting sweepstakes in which we planned to give away a full AMD Phenom X4 9750-powered system, complete with 4GB of Corsair RAM, a GeForce 8800 GTS graphics card and a brand new Western Digital Black Edition hard drive.  The response we received after the announcement was awesome, with hundreds of new members joining our community, posting thousands of comments throughout the forum and news.  Well the dust has settled and we’ve picked a winner.

    Are you ready for it?  Drumroll please...And the Winner Is...

     congrats Super Dave. You've been around for awhile and have always been a big help to alot of people. You def deserve to win this bad boy. Enjoy it man and don't forget to post some benches when you get it in and all set up.

    You guys know how to make a grown man cry (I did as my son and wife watched), and I can't believe how good HotHardware has been to me. I visit other forums from time-to-time, but this one is my home! I have never been flamed here, and the help I have received from the other members has been phenomenal. Friends and family come to me when they need computer help, but I can't carry-on an interesting computer-related conversation with them. That is the reason I like HotHardware! I have enjoyed very much the buddies I have made here and the conversations we have had. Thank you all very much!
