very nice system. If i had to nitpick it would be your choice in motherboard. Nvidia boards are pretty terrible from my own personal experience.

update - upgraded to a 2gb corsair dominator 2000 kit this weekend

i would agree that nvidia chipsets can be crazy annoying... i've had the 680i, 780i and now the 790i and i guess you can say i'm used to the pain

this is a 2-way SLI set up.  i'm going to watercool the cards eventually.  just waiting for EK to make their blocks available.

Normally an avg framerate of 38 wouldn't be very impressive, but Crysis running in full DX10 glory @ 19 x 12 with 16xQAA... freakin awesome!!!

To put it in perspective, my stock E4600 + 9800GTX runs it @ only 30fps in DX9(all high)@ 1920 x 1080 with 0xAA and believe me... I know how taxing high AA is and how much better it can make a game look.

a cpu, a board, some ram, a gfx card, an opty, a hdd and a psu... all in a case

Very niiiiice indeed!  I think you should work up a post (in your spare time when you're not gaming your a$$ off Stick out tongue ) that shows the project start-to-finish in one post -- a brief "crib notes" version with pics of your whole deal.  What say you?  We may even be able to push this up on the front page since it looks so well done!
