    I'm planning on upgrading the memory on my machine and I have a few questions. I have a Giga-byte GA-MA790FX-DS5 with OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) memory. I currently have an Athlon 64 CPU (which I plan to upgrade to a Phenom in the future) running WinXP x64 (also planning to upgrade to Vista sometime). After putting everything together I realize that I'm running Crossfire and not SLI but I figure it shouldn't hurt things. Am I correct?

    I'm looking for 2 X 2GB and I figure that it needs to have the same timing as what I have and if there anything else that I need to check? Should I replace the SLI memory with regular memory?

    I have looked and haven't found any Crossfire memory in the size I'm looking at so will there be any issues with SLI memory which is running in non SLI mode and regular memory.

    I don't plan on overclocking the memory at least not extremely so that’s not an issue.

    You will have no issues running your SLI memory with your crossfire configuration.  All that's really recommended is to stay with the same memory if you can for timing and voltage compatibility.
