    GSM Phone on CDMA network?

Hry I really want the HTC Touch Pro but its a GSM phone, there may be a revision to make it CDMA, but incase there isn't is there a way to make a GSM phone such as the HTC Touch Pro to work on a CDMA Carrier such as verizon? I'd switch carriers but I can txt, and call for free to verizion user which the majority of my friends use.

even if the HTC Touch can communicate on a CDMA network you still need a SIM for the touch to operate and to my knowledge the only CDMA phones that have SIM cards are the Nextels.
