Your motherboard supports Crossfire, as does your PSU.  You may want to go with an ATi card instead.  That way in the future you can consider adding a second for X-Fire.

129.99 after mail-in-rebate.  3870's are usually around 10% slower than an 8800GT, however it is about 20% less in price so you get a better price:performance ratio.  Plus you can add a second for x-fire in the future.  Or even wait towards the later parts of the month as the 4850 will come out.  It's rumoured MSRP is $199 but who knows you could find a deal for cheaper.

Based on your board choice, it makes sense to go with an ati card IMO.

a cpu, a board, some ram, a gfx card, an opty, a hdd and a psu... all in a case

Click your own link that you posted.  You didn't read reviews?  Or click specifications?  It says Crossfire everywhere.  It does say it comes with an SLI bridge which is puzzling, but I think it's actually a Crossfire bridge.

I did read it, I know it says Crossfire. The SLI bridge screwed me up. Big Smile Don't be angry at me [:'(]

lol I'm not angry.  I just thought it was obvious.  But yeah if you have no desire for X-fire, then an 8800GT is a good choice.  But that PSU is pretty good so just consider ATi.
