so after joining here i thought i'll brag about my computer. nothing fancy, just up graded from 939/nvida to 5000be ga-ma770-ds3 g-skill 8500, feels twice as fast and runs afew deg cooler, i like it.

so 1 second before i logon it dies, goes black no bsod nothing, i say out loud what the ....... ! restart does it again several times so i figure after the cat hotfix and sp1 for vista(i like vista)something wrong and delete the cat, restart, run dh driver cleaner, ccleaner and defrag the system, restart againg and............

bsod after the loadind bar, tried several times same thing untill i try safemode it works. i try copying files so i can reinstall--(did you know vista saves previous install as windows.old,  i didn't lucky me)--still doing black screens, so go into bios......

bios shows in hw moniter cpu at 46c?!?!?! but all fans were running ssooo time to turn off and move it to a desk top so i can look inside while is running, all fans ok except the one i can't see thats upside down, the vid card........

i use my hi-tech temp probe (finger) and damn near knockover computer pulling hand out, not good touching NB hs, vid card hotter than hell, kneeling down video fan not running, overheating hole computer. yes the first warm day fo the year 80d/27c

so to make a short story long, i've got a friend who'll lend me my old 800 untill i can rma the diamond 2600xt.

i have had the 5000be to 3.2 on stock volts not stable, runs fine a 3.0, ht @1155, memory 859hrz 5.4.4.12 t2 2.1v(epp) will run 4.4.4.10 t1 but only 2 tenths difference between t1 and t2 so letting board do all at default setting.(3800x2 would do 2.4 on default)

3dmark05/06 were 10033/4522 w/prine 26.89
