    PLEASE HELP PROBLEM WITH DSL LINE ? OR SOFTWARE

    Please help me a lot of you have knowledge in this area

    Please read all and let me know

    I send Microsoft all Information but I know they are not going to say if it Is my DSL line is the problem

    In last 5 months 3 months had no computer only to surf and lost A lot of stuff having to do a reinstall

    I wrote about 5 months ago about having problems opening Hotmail sending e-mail updating from Microsoft update got Error 0x80072ee2 had this problem for 6 weeks

    Had a “IT” from Microsoft in control of my computer For over 3 hours and could not fix it and said he was going To send it to higher up in Microsoft.

    I finally did a clean install.

    At start of problem I had lost My DSL thought Phone Co. Had been working on phone lines Or my modem was blown so I bought a new one after I Got my DSL back both worked

    Well same thing happened about 6 weeks ago Could not open hotmail 5 min. Opening Outlook Express And during downloading of inbasket from hotmail got Errors could not send E-mail could not update from Microsoft update error 0x80072ee2 all same both times

    On Fri. March28,2008 lost DSL all together and It is still off      contacted “295.ca”

    Having no internet I took my old computer and set it up Seeing as it was set up to use dial up and I could open Hotmail and send E-mail so I tried Microsoft update and It worked

    so I hooked up my new computer and worked on dial up  hotmail  send e-mail  update from  Microsoft update

    So is it my Windows XP o/s software to use DSL that is the Problem

    Or is it my DSL line

    Phone line is BELL CANADA

    DSL IS FROM 295.CA

    Do I dump 295.ca ??  I going to anyway,I was on phone for more than 3 hours on the Mon.March 31 to try to get DSL back on during wait music was hung up on

    the 3 people  hung up on me  has    I did what they asked with computer  modem   NO I WAS NICE I  WANTED MY DSL  BACK ON 

    still no DSL   now  I don`t want it   my dial up is with them so I want other high speed in place before cutting them also sent them all information but no reply 

    And what high speed should I go with

    BELL CANADA PHONE LINE    

    OR ROGERS CABLE CABLE ??

    Hope someone has the answer I don`t want to go though this Again   Is it 295.ca DSL    or  BELL  carrying  the DSL ??   Got me stumped  or something else???

    If you are not satisified with the service contact their DSL manger Chris at extension 905 he can make sure you are fixed quickly.

    MY DSL HAS BEEN OFF SINCE FRI.MARCH 28,2008.AFT.  (WED.APRIL 9,2008 STILL OFF)

    THEY HAVE NO TECH SUPPORT ON WEEKENDS

    PHONED MON.MARCH 31,2008. AND WAS HUNG UP ON WAITING TO TALK TO

    SOMEONE  (RECORDED MUSIC 15 MIN EACH TIME) 5-6 TIMES

    THEN TALKED TO LADY AND LOST DSL SOUND ON PHONE LINE (LINE WITHOUT FILTER)

    DURING TOLD TO TURN OFF MODEM DID, IT PICKED UP PHONE AND HUNG UP ON   

    PHONED BACK MORE THAN 6 TIMES MUSIC HUNG UP ON EACH TIME

    TALK TO A GUY WHOLE  STORY AGAIN TOLD TO RECYCLE MODEM  HUNG UP ON

    PHONED  MUSIC HUNG UP 3-4 TIMES EACH TIME FROM PHONE MUSIC TO HUNG UP ON  TAKES ABOUT 15 MINUTES

    TALK TO GUY AND  YOUR MODEMS ( HAVE 2 LAST TIME THOUGHT IT WAS MODEM) ARE OK

    TO TALK TO THREE PERSONS LESS THAN  15 MINUTES  TOOK  3 HOURS

    AND OVER YEARS   THREE FOUR TIMES I HAVE PHONE SAME THING 

    TWO THREE HOURS HUNG UP ON AND HUNG UP  ON WHILE TALKING TO

    THEM

    LAST YEAR AFTER BILLING MY CARD. NEXT DAY WIPED OUT MY E-MAILS

    (ACCOUNT) THAT I HAD FOR THREE- FOUR YEARS

    I HAVE DIAL UP WITH THEM STARTED WITH IT (SENDING WITH IT) ALSO

    TURBO2DIAL UP THAT IS NOT WORKING  E-MAIL THEM TO TURN IT ON AGAIN AND

    AGAIN  NOTHING

    OVER LAST 5 MONTHS  THREE MONTHS MY COMPUTER COULD ONLY SURF NOT E-MAIL OR  OPEN HOTMAIL OR UPDATE O/S

    E-MAILED  BILLING A NUMBER OF TIMES (4-5) NEVER GOT A REPLY

     

    I WANT TO GET TURBO2 DIALUP TURNED ON AND HAVE DIAL UP TO USE 

    WHILE I  GET HIGH SPEED UP AGAIN AND HAVE AS A BACK UP

     

    I HAVE SEND E-MAILS  WITH NO REPLY BACK   TALK TO THREE TECH SUPPORT

    AND  DSL IS STILL OFF  AND SO IS    TURBO2DIAL UP

    I  PAID FOR DIAL UP  AND TURBO2DIAL UP FOR THE YEAR  IT WAS ONLY

    WAY I COULD GET MY E-MAIL  TURNED BACK ON LAST MAY

     

    I WANT TO KNOW IS IT  295 DSL THAT SCREWED UP MY COMPUTER

    OR  BELL PHONE LINE CARRYING  295 DSL?????????????

     

    IS THERE A  SITE THAT COULD ANSWER THIS QUESTION FOR ME????

    THERE IS NO SINCE STAYING  WITH 295 IF IT IS

     

    JUST THINK  IF YOU LOST YOUR COMPUTER FOR 6 WEEKS COULD NOT

    OPEN HOTMAIL OTHER E-MAIL ACCOUNTS  OR SEND  ANY E-MAILS

    TOOK  5 MIN TO OPEN  HOTHARDWARE  THEN 5 MIN TO SIGN IN 

    9 OUT OF 10 TIMES WOULD KICK ME OUT   5 MONTHS AGO

    SPEND  20-30 MIN WRITING  POST  FOR HELP AND IT   WIPED OUT

    ON SEND

     

    I  NEED TO KNOW IF USING A  DSL FROM OTHER THAN PHONE COMPANY

    CAN DO THIS ?

    AND IF SO HOPFULLY CAN SAVE OTHERS IF THEY RUN INTO A PROBLEM LIKE THIS

    THEY ON FIRST DAY OF PROBLEM HAVE A GOOD IDEA WHAT MAY BE WRONG

     

    5 MONTHS AGO IF I HAD KNOWN I WOULD HAVE  CHANGED TO OTHER HIGH SPEED

    GOT IN WORSE  THEY HAVE NOT TRIED TO FIX  CALL IN PROBLEMS

     

    BACK WHEN I STARTED USING THEIR DIAL UP  WAS  GOOD FOR PRICE

    DIAL UP  IS LESS THAN $40.00 FOR YEAR AND TURBO2DIAL UP  LESS

    THAN $40.00 FOR YEAR    HAD FEW PROBLEMS  THAT IS WHY I STAYED

    WITH THEM  FOR  DSL

    PLEASE SOMEONE LET ME KNOW HOW I GET A ANSWER ABOUT  DSL PROBLEM

     YOU NEED TO BRIEFLY EXPLAIN FACTS and send email to dsl@295.ca, the manager gets emails their and WILL ADDRESS any concerns, his name is Chris.

     DSL cannot wreck your PC, there is no difference in the service between a reseller like 295.ca or Bell.

    If your using DSL and you call support with a phone that isn't filtered the noise on your line may be the reason you kept getting disconnected from their tech support.

    call or email as I have indicated and they will address your concerns.  THIS REPLY IS YOUR HELP, TAKE IT

    5 months ago for a day or so lost dsl thought Bell may have been working on phone lines

    (live in apt.) bought a 2nd modem that my Modem was blown

    after dsl came back both MODEMSA worked

    COULD NOT OPEN HOTMAIL ,OUTLOOK EXPRESS WHEN I COULD OPEN TOOK 5 MIN. OR MORE DOWNLOADING INBASKET FROM HOTMAIL WITH ERRORS

    COULD NOT SEND E-MAILS ONLY SURF

    WITH COMPUTER COULD NOT UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT UPDATE

    FOR WEEKS SEARCHED INTERNET FOR FIX TRIED EVERYTHING.

    ASKED MANY FORMUMS NO ANSWER

    HAD MICROSOFT TECH. CONTROL MY COMPUTER FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS AND COULD NOT FIND WHAT WAS WRONG AND SAID HE WAS SENDING IT TO HIGH UP IN MICROSOFT NEVER HEARD FROM THEM

    HAD OTHER COMPUTERS AND SAME THING LASTED 6 WEEKS

    LAST 6 WEEKS SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN LOST DSL FOR A DAY OR SO

    LOST HOTMAIL CAN NOT SEND E-MAIL OUTLOOK EXPRESS UPLOAD ERRORS CAN NOT UPDATE FROM MICOSOFT UPDATE

    AND IF USE ANOTHER COMPUTER SAME THING

    ON FRI.MARCH 28, 2008 LOST DSL ALL TOGETHER

    HAVING NO INTERNET AT ALL I HOOKED UP MY OLD COMPUTER THAT WAS SET UP TO USE DIAL UP

    WELL I COULD OPEN HOTMAIL SEND E-MAILS UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT

    UPDATE IT TOOK DAYS TO UPDATE USING DIAL UP SEEING AS THE COMPUTER HAD NOT BEEN USED FOR 5 MONTHS

    I THEN HOOKED UP MY NEW COMPUTER (AM USING IT NOW) AND COULD OPEN HOTMAIL SEND E-MAIL UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT UPDATE

    NOW AS I SEE IT IT HAS TO BE CONNECTED TO MY DSL ??

    IS IT MY 295DSL ?

    OR BELL CANADA ?(PHONE LINE)

    I NEED ANSWERS I DO NOT WANT TO GO THOUGH THIS AGAIN

    POWER  LIGHT ON   DSL LIGHT  ON    NO ACCT   LIGHT,  NO  ENET   LIGHT

    ALL WEEKEND  I TOOK OFF PHONE FILTER  HAD DIAL TONE AND DSL SOUND

    PUT FILTER BACK ON  

    ON  MON.MARCH 30,2008  PHONED 295 4-5 TIMES TO MUSIC 15MIN. EACH TIME

    THEN HUNG UP ON

    THEN GOT A LADY RUN THROUGH STORY SHE SAID TO RECYCLE MODEM

    PUT PHONE DOWN DID RECYCLE PICK UP PHONE AND SHE HAD HUNG UP ON ME

    PHONED BACK  MUSIC 4-5 TIMES THEN 4-5 TIMES BEING TOLD 295,CA WAS CLOSED

    11:00 A.M.  15 MIN. EACH TIME  WHILE DOING THIS LOST THE DSL LIGHT ON

    MODEMS   TOOK PHONE FILTER OFF PHONE AND ONLY HEAR DIAL TONE

    SHE  TOOK DSL OFF MY LINE

    GOT A GUY AND WAS NOT GOING TO HELP ME BECAUSE HE WAS SURE

    SHE WAS TRYING TO PHONE ME BACK       THIS AFTER I WAS ON PHONE

    11/2  HOURS  TOLD STORY TO HIM HE SAID SAME THING I RECYLCLED MODEM

    HE HUNG UP ON ME

    PHONED AGAIN 4-5 TIMES MUSIC 15  MIN EACH TIME

    GOT GUY TOLD STORY TO HIM IN END  SAID MODEMS ARE OK

     

    SO DO NOT TRY TO SAY THAT IT WAS ME

     


    MY  PHONE DIAL TONE IS STILL  ONLY  A DIAL TONE MY DSL IS

    STILL OFF PHONE  AND THIS IS   FRI.APRIL11,2008

    BUT 295.CA  TOOK  MONEY OUT  OF MY CREDIT CARD APRIL 9

    FOR NO WORKING DSL 

     

    MY TURBO2DIAL UP WAS TURNED ON TODAY  

    I PAID FOR THE YEAR LAST  MAY   BECAUSE

    295.CA HAD WIPED OUY MY  E-MAIL   THAT I HAD LET  OTHERS KNOW

    TO SEND ME E-MAILS
