Hey i want a laptop for school/work/internet use.. nothing of gaming performance.. budget is around 500-600 and not much more. I would like an intergrated mic and web cam as well. Thats about all of my requirements. Any1 help me find one? New not used too. Thanks and Lemme know.

I like acer but at that price point look at hp or dell. Don't get a nvidia gpu right now.

In that price range i think i would look toward asus eeepc

Eeepc's are very limited for $600 he could get a dual core 1Gb vista lappy with a bigger screen.

This 1 is a little higher but does have the webcam

That is really nice. 2GB of ram and a dual core pentium. The new pentiums are really snappy. I got the crapware off a friends laptop that she had just got. It was the same cpu. Really nice.

 I agree! For just $50 more (after tortuous mail-in rebate) the Lenovo adds 1GB more RAM, webcam, and a slightly-faster CPU. Amazing...for only $550 to $600 you can get a pretty-descent laptop!
