    Had a fire this morning.

Lost a machine this morning. I came home to smell that smoldering electrical smell and nearly went into panick mode as I couldn't immedietly find the source. Naturaly fearing my house was on fire i search every where attic walls pluggs. Finally i found the culprit the light was off in the pc room and i seen a spark and a flicker and low and behold a 17in monitor was smoldering and on fire inside. After dealing with the blaze and replacing the monitor it seems it took with it the video card that was tethered to the other end a x850xt. So maybe after a while when my nerves calm i will whip out a crust old agp card to and try to mend the boxConfused.

Wow that's scary. Sorry to hear that. At work we had a security monitor start smoldering and couldn't figure out what it was. The fire department had to come out and they made everyone leave before we figured out that it was the monitor.
