    IBM Lenovo T60 bios password resset ????

    Hello everybody!

    I have bought a new used Notebook IBM Lenovo T60 and it locked by the 1st owner with a bios password.

    Is there any way hoe to reset it without entering in Hardware to make a reset by removing the back up battery ??

     This is one of those ethical-issue posts where the responder should ponder that the notebook could be stolen. A thorny issue for sure! Don't take this as a flame, anyone, but if the original-poster is new to this forum I would NOT answer this post. That is how I feel and I am prepared to take the heat. Think about it!

    I didn't even think about it. My girlfirend did that to her computer once before we lived together. Her roommate was always downloading crap and she forgot the password.
