    new rig 1st draft

this is a first draft of components for a gaming rig. just looking for any feedback/massive errors i may have made, if you have seen my last post it's actually for my brother:

    CPU Intel q9450
    Motherboard P5Q Deluxe
    Ram 4GB; 800mhz A-Data
    Graphics Radeon HD 4850

the other bits like hd and optical drives should be compatible.

what size psu do you recommend with overclocking in mind, i was thinking 550V max.

thinking of surprising him with a thermalright ultra as well!

Looks good but you may want to consider going with a new chipset if you ever decide to run crossfire. Gigabyte makes the DS4 X48 board and it's stable and very good quality.

Both parts are superior quality. The power supply I linked runs 80%+ effecient and will support your system if you run crossfire later and it has a 5 year warranty.
