    Help w/ Phenom erratum hotfix

    My friend has a Phenom 9600 revision DR-B2.

    I want to confirm if this revision has the erratum problem and if so can someone point me to the patch/hotfix.

    a cpu, a board, some ram, a gfx card, an opty, a hdd and a psu... all in a case

    The BIOS workaround for the TLB erratum delivers a pretty nasty performance-hit, recovering. In light of that, your friend might not want to use the workaround (the chance of the erratum negatively-affecting his system is very slim indeed). I found a good article for you to read HERE.
