    HotHardware's Independance Day Sweepstakes

    It's that time again folks! In conjunction with our good friends at AMD, Corsair, and Western Digital, we're giving away yet another full, quad-core system this month!  This time around, you could win a full AMD Phenom X4 9750-based system, complete with a GeForce 8800 GTS graphics card and a brand new Western Digital Black Edition hard drive!

    The complete parts list and breakdown is listed below!  As we've done with previous sweepstakes, we’ll be giving away this rig away to a randomly selected contributor to our on-line forum and discussion systems, but like last month there's a twist (see below):

    Miscellaneous: Arctic Cooling Freezer 64

    To be entered into the sweepstakes, you’ve got to be a registered, active member of our forum and a resident of the United States. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up quickly and easily (and for free), right here.

    From this point forward, we’ll be monitoring discussions on the site and forum and will be randomly selecting a winner. You can increase your chances of winning by signing up for our HotHardware RSS News Alerts.  Finally, to coincide with the upcoming Independance Day holiday, we're going to give extra credit to anyone who makes a charitable contribution to the Disabled American Veterans Fund.  Make a donation - of any size - and forward a copy of your receipt to this e-mail address for another chance to win.  Donations are NOT a requirement to win, but with Independance Day coming up we thought this was a good opportunity to give something back to the military.  We here at HotHardware will be making a contribution to the DAV fund as well.  The winner of the rig will be announced Monday, July 7.

    I don't want to be in the "Home of the Blues" I would be "So Doggone Lonesome" there, please "Don't Make Me Go" or I'll "Cry, Cry, Cry". But I "Guess Things Happen That Way" but "What Do I Care" so long as you "Don't Take Your Guns to Town" well be ok.

    Well I guess I better end this post it's raining here and the creek is "Five Feet High and Rising" so "Goodbye Little Darlin" "It's Just About Time" for me to go and "Katy Too" so "Thanks a Lot" I'll see you "Down the Street to 301".

    I think I used too many song titles the moderators may not like that. I'm "In the Jailhouse Now" and it's as "Dark as a Dungeon" in here singing the "Folsom Prision Blues". O well the moderators my not be so bad because "Everybody Loves a Nut" and I'm "Happy to Be with You" and just to be a "Long-Legged Guitar Pickin' Man" and "A Boy Named Sue".

    Just a little update folks, Corsair will be coming through with a nice 4GB kit for this rig...not the 2GB I originally posted!

    It really doesnt matter what other goodies are in this thing, fact of the matter is a free phenom for talking tech and geeking out sounds like a fine way to spend the good ole 4th ... enjoy everyone.

     Well, that's too bad because "I'm Bound For the Promised Land" in this contest, and you'll be "Fourty Shades of Green" with envy. I will "Look Unto the East" for the ups driver. My old machine and I are only going for "One More Ride" together. I will know that "My God is Real" when I get the E-Mail confirming that "Memories are Made of This."

    Don't fret though folks. These contests will "Never Grow Old". There will be a "New Cut Road", next month made with a "Nine Pound Hammer"
