    Good value for money?

I'm in the process of rebuilding my computer, just doing it one step at a time as I'm kind of on the poor side.  Anyway without further adoo/adue/adwhatever here's the list.

I'm using that with my current setup (Basicaly 3 SATA drives, a CD-drive and my monitors/speakers with a 7600GT).  Any recomendations or suggestions which won't fluctuate the price would be very much appreciated!

Eek, get a better PSU!  350w is like ultra bare minimum.

    Antec Basic 500w

Just a higher watt version of the one you linked.  Just don't get only 350w, no way.  Even if it works with this system, it hurts your upgrade path.

    Hello

Yeah that power supply is to small for sure. The first thing you need to worry about is the MB that along with your power supply is the backbone of any PC. Look around though for the case there is no need to pay the top dollar prices check pricegrabber and hot deals first. I got a Xaser case without the brand name a few years ago from the original manufacturer. It is the same case aluminum throughout full tower all the fan drive and components compartments etc less than 60$. Where you'd pay 2-300 dollars for a Xaser case of course it does'nt have the name and is standard brushed aluminum unpainted. It still is a very very solid case with a big side window. I would say the rest of your components look good I have been shopping on the internet more than a decade now, and if you need some help putting together a solid system outside of here let me know. I can probably find the components etc and mail you the links if you want just hit me up outta here and give me a priceline to meet or beat.

Thanks for the offer but I've been making my own computers for years.  I'm only getting it from OverClockers as the prices are reasonable and I don't have to pay for shipping (as it's just up the road).

Edit: I'm also going to opt for the 500w PSU over the 350W.

Purely monetary reasons really.  I can't afford the extra £40 or so.  Besides I can always upgrade to the quad core some other time later down the line.

Went ahead with the build today and all went well. Except I forgot to connect the 4 pin ATX connector at first so it didn't boot but got it connected and it's running like a charm at about 28c.
