    Future computers

I can't wait till the get the display worked out for the true monitor less PC. Come on think of it (and believe it or not most of this stuff is already feasible and been developed at least a couple years except the 32 core bug skin proc.) a PC the size of a box top with a holographic projector in the middle no need for a keyboard or a mouse because you use your hands in the HO LO environment to manipulate everything within it (think virtual keyboard hands for mouse gestures etc) in a true 3d environment projected in front of you all storage is handled on your home world reach server so you never loose data because it runs raid 5 and raid 0+1 all wireless made with 32 core bug skin processors and by then ddr10 MMMMMMMMM TASTEY Hell they even have body suits for pure responsiveness to a virtual environment with shrouded glasses for a true virtual environment think of it you don't go to work you just log on to work your desk is virtual in front of you your game is a full 3d world your virtual porn is on a 1 on 1  basis (the body suit glasses porn is available now in japan seems a bit impersonal to me but it's there) watch music videos like your at a concert go to the virtual mall on Internet2 and not only shop but try on clothes and there in the mail visit your parents across the world on a daily basis etc etc you think I' dreaming you watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: Future computers

Here's 2 very early examples this is a true 3d display invented at USC recently http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/31/researchers-develop-a-360-degree-holographic-display/ but this is more what I was talking about on the right now http://www.everythingusb.com/io2_m2i_heliodisplay.html put the second on a laptop you need no screen and it's touch controllable
