    hmmmm.... about the ablock software.  I have noticed a decrease in spyware after installing adblock plus and filterset G.  Some ads carry that stuff, and if you block them you don't get them.   Also you can un-block any site with these ff adons.   Its very easy, just hit the drop down menu on the ABP stop sign. 

    I just skimmed the thread, so sorry if someone already said this.
