T-Mobile USA Launches Sidekick LX For $200
While the HTC-built G1 has undoubtedly become the face of T-Mobile, the long-standing Sidekick line is getting a new face of its own today. T-Mobile USA has just launched the Sidekick LX, which features a long-awaited 3G radio and the same iconic swivel design that has made the form factor so appealing over the years.
Additionally, prospective buyers can look forward to GPS-enabled Live Search and improved video capabilities, and it is available for pre-order starting today in two new colors -- orchid and carbon. Denny Marie Post, chief marketing officer, T-Mobile USA, chimed in with a few very positive things to say: "Our Sidekick customers are going to be blown away by the new features this device is offering, which is why it’s so exciting to give them the exclusive opportunity to get it before anyone else. Today’s Sidekick customers are avid communicators, with three out of four accessing social networking sites on their device at least once per week.
