SCO Bailed Out...By Who?

After disastrous legal troubles, which many feel the company brought upon itself, it seemed that industry mainstay SCO might be gone for good.  Luckily, that doesn't seem as if it will happen.

“Stephen Norris & Co. Capital Partners said Thursday it and unnamed Middle Eastern partners will fund The SCO Group with up to $100 million to take over the financially beleaguered Unix company, move it out of bankruptcy protection, complete its controversial and unsuccessful Linux litigation, and take it private.”

We'll continue snooping around and trying to discover who the new owners are.  All we can say is that $100 million is probably the best Valentine's day gift we've ever heard of.
