Razer Unveils Naga Hex Gaming Mouse for RPG an MOBA Fans

Razer always seems to have something up its sleeve every time the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas rolls around, and this year one of the things wiggling around at Razer is a new rodent designed for RPG and Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) fans. It's the Naga Hex Gaming Mouse and it sports six large thumb buttons to bind spells and initiate macros as you venture on your quest to fetch whatever for whoever before running into a vicious looking thingamabob.

The buttons are mechanical, and just like same style keyboards, they require less force to actuate. Will it make a lick of difference? Who knows, but it certainly can't hurt. On a related note, Razer says the buttons are constructed with special switches for a performance of up to 250 clicks per minute, just the thing for hack-and-slash types looking forward to Diablo III.

Razer says its Naga Hex is also "Razer Synapse 2.0" enabled, which stores settings in the cloud so you can take your mouse with you to LAN parties and save the hassle of reconfiguring everything, provided there's an Internet connection. Other features include:
  • 11 total programmable buttons
  • 10 million click life cycle
  • Ergonomic curved design
  • 5600dpi Razer Presicion 3.5G Laser Sensor
  • 1000Mhz Ultrapolling/1ms response time

The Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse is available for pre-order now for $80 and will ship at the end of month. It will be in stores worldwide in March 2012.
