QuakeCon Day 2 Coverage, ThermalRock Eclipse ATX, and more!

Hey everyone, I've got some reading material to help you fall asleep. Not to say that it's boring, in fact QuakeCon has produced some nice new footage of Quake 4. The lucky folks attending QuakeCon have been allowed to experience Quake 4's deathmatch, while the rest of us will just have to settle with some pretty screenshots for now... oh so pretty screenshots. Goodnight!

QuakeCon Day 2 Coverage:

ECS KN1 Extreme nForce 4 Ultra Motherboard @ PCstats

"Hardware features on the socket 939 AMD Athlon64 ECS KN1 Extreme include an additional Serial ATA/IDE RAID controller, IEEE 1394a, a 5.1 channel audio codec and two network cards (one Gigabit, one 10/100). To top things off, ECS also throws in a decent software bundle and a little I/O slot exhaust fan. The board itself is based on the nVidia nForce 4 Ultra chipset, which means that one PCI Express x16 videocard is supported, but not SLI."

Sony Handycam DCR-DVD803E @ Hardware Zone

"The Sony Handycam DCR-DVD803E comes with 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio recording options and is also the first in the world to introduce a 3-megapixel Advanced HAD CCD sensor and surround sound recording on a camcorder."

AOpen 6600-DV128LP @ Overclockers Online

"With SLI capable video cards, performance levels as high as the 7800GTX, one must wonder why Overclockers Online would have any interested in something like the 6600. Silence is what makes the difference with this card. No longer will we have to listen to any fans with AOpen's silent solution."

ThermalRock Eclipse ATX @ Phoronix

"ThermalRock, a division of Thermaltake, has diverted away from the design of traditional ATX cases in favor of offering a new level of innovation with such things as CD storage on the front bezel. However, will their latest creation, the Eclipse ATX chassis, be anything more than a re-designed Thermaltake Soprano?"

Lian Li V1200 Plus Case Review @ XYZ Computing

"Lian Li is a long time favorite of computer builders, especially those who are willing to spend more so that they will get the features and design benefits of a high end product. This case has a formidable price tag, but with its great looks, innovative layout, and brand reputation it has more that a few things going for it."
