Does high performance memory help laptops all that much? I usually get the faster ram for overclocking headroom.

I agree with Bob, but that applies to desktops. How many laptops have overclocking available in the BIOS? And how many laptops have dual-channel memory support?

I like the idea of building your own laptops. The OCZ ones look a little pricey for what you get though. I am still waiting on MXM to take off. With all the people moving to laptops these days I don't see why we can't have MXM cards selling on newegg like desktop GPUs.
