Nikon Introduces COOLPIX P500 With 36x Zoom

Nikon revealed a handful of new COOLPIX digital cameras, including the all new COOLPIX P500 with a 36x zoom. The COOLPIX P500 features a 12.1-megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor with a 22.5mm to 810mm (35mm equivalent) lens.

Nikon also announced the new COOLPIX S9100 and L120 cameras for users who want a slim zoom or affordable telephoto camera. The new COOLPIX S9100 packs an 18x zoom (25mm-450mm equivalent) in a sleek body. The COOLPIX S9100 offers a 12.1-megapixel backside illuminated CMOS sensor and ISO sensitivity up to 3200. It also has a 3-inch high resolution, 921,000-dot LCD monitor and the full HD (1080p) movie recording with one-touch operation.

The new COOLPIX L120 combines a powerful 21x zoom with easy-to-use features for the ultimate family camera. This 14.1-megapixel camera touts a hybrid VR image stabilization system and high sensitivity up to ISO 6400.
