More Sony Battery Recalls

Another day another Sony battery recall, this time by Fujitsu in the amount of 280,000 batteries. Fujitsu joins the ranks of other manufacturers such as Dell, Lenovo, Apple, and Toshiba in issuing massive battery recalls and replacements. Surprisingly enough Sony has yet to recall these batteries from their own laptops, however a report today does indicate they will do so soon.  HP on the other hand is holding out on any recalls for the time being citing proper circuitry in their laptops which would prevent such an episode from occurring and the lack of evidence of said incidents on their laptops.  If you own a laptop by any of the above manufacturers and have a Sony battery, then it is recommended you contact them for guidance on how to proceed.
