Microsoft Intros Stylish Wireless Mouse 4000 Studio Family

Mice, mice, mice. It's not a pest problem, it's a back to school symptom. With students galore looking for new mice to take to class (and the dorm room), Microsoft is hoping to catch the eye of style-minded students who need a mouse that fits their mood and color patterns. The company is this week taking the wraps off of their Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 Studio line, which features six different designs that were inspired by the places that people will use them – around the house, at a coffee shop, on a park bench.

Patterns Micro, Botanic and Cosmic are available exclusive to Best Buy and Best Buy.com, and patterns Downtown, Crania and Pirouette will be available at other retailers in-store and online in September. In other words, you've got lots of choices, and all of these are designed to work with travelers that need a mouse on the go. Microsoft has included their BlueTrack technology for sensing on nearly any surface, a 2.4GHz receiver, 10-month battery life and a plug-and-go nano transceiver. And for just $39.95, you probably won't have to rearrange your budget to squeeze it in.
