Maxtor Sata II nForce4 Issues Solved
Maxtor has just posted some new firmware which apparently solves any issues experienced when using the company's SATA II hard drives with an nForce4-equipped motherboard. Specifically, this new firmware fixes issues with DiamondMax 10, DiamondMax 11, MaxLine III, and MaxLine Pro 500 hard drives. With this solution coming direct from the hard drive vendor, it makes you wonder whether the issues rests within the chipset or within the drives themselves.
