MSI Kicks Out Another Classic Notebook (CR410)

MSI has been cranking out notebooks like they're going out of style, having just yesterday announced their new FX600 laptop built around Intel's Core i3/i5 platform. One day later (that's today, for those of you keeping track), MSI has turned its attention to its Classic series with the release of the CR410, this time built around AMD's latest Vision (Danube) platform.

The specs won't knock your socks off, though if you're shopping for a 14-inch notebook in the first place, balls-to-the-wall performance probably isn't a priority, anyway. There's still enough power here to pulverize your netbook, including an AMD Athlon II dual-core processor, DDR3-1066 memory, ATI Mobility Radeon 4270 graphics (with shared memory), up to a 500GB SATA hard drive, 4-in-1 memory card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, and various other odds and ends.

The CR410 employs AMD’s latest Danube platform with AMD Athlon™ II Dual-Core CPU with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4270. It supports DDR3 system memory with up to 8GB of memory for the ultimate in display and processing performance.
