MSI Introduces CX413 AMD-Powered 14" Notebook

We honestly can't say that we have been keeping a tally on total notebook releases in 2010 by each manufacturer, but MSI has to be in the top 5. It's another week, another notebook for the prolific PC maker, as the CX413 has become the latest machine to surface in the Classic lineup.

It's an all-business machine, but there's plenty of power under the hood to make it sufficient for take-home use as well. Powering the laptop is an AMD Athlon II P320 (dual-core), Windows 7 Home Premium and up to 4GB of DDR3-1066 memory. There is also a 14" HD display, ATI's Mobility Radeon HD 5470 GPU (512MB), one HDMI output, one VGA output, a 2.5" hard drive (250GB/320GB/500GB), a DVD SuperMulti drive, three USB 2.0 ports and a 4-in-1 card reader. MSI has also included a few usual connectivity options: 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, Gigabit LAN and a 1.3MP webcam. Finally, there's a 6-cell battery, but estimated life isn't given. Unfortunately, neither are price and release date, but hopefully they won't hold out on everyone for much longer.
