Logitech Introduces $99 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers Z506

There's no question that graphics get the bulk of the attention. Be it movies, video games, whatever -- people are really concerned about frame rates and how smooth an image is, but they often overlook the audio that fills in and completes the experience. Logitech has never been a company to overlook that aspect, and they have been providing killer audio rigs to PC and console gamers for years now.

The company's all-in-one kits have generally been impressive, but their price tags were often out of reach for most bargain gamers. But now, Logitech is introducing a set of speakers that even the cash-strapped gamer should be able to save up for. The $99 Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506 offer 5.1 surround sound and compatibility with a bunch of devices: PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, iPod or a DVD player, and that's just for starters.

To ensure that the Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506 are easy to set up, the company color coded all of the cables and included an accessory cable for sound cards and music players. There are no difficult setup procedures here, it's just plug and play for the most part. The entire system offers 75 watts of amplification, and they should be hitting stores soon. Time to upgrade, right?
