LG Launches Optimus One, Chic for Smarphone Newbs

Both phones ships with a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, and the same handful of Google features, wireless options (Wi-Fi and 3G), 2GB microSD card slot, and other odds and ends. The Chic, however, is supposed to be the better looking of the two (we'll let you be the judge of that) and it comes with a 5MP camera versus the One's 3MP. It also supports DLNA and has the ability to wirelessly sync contacts, photos, and more. The Chic will also come in both black and white, just like Apple's iPhone.
No word yet on price, but LG did say it will launch the Optimus One in more than 90 countries in October, with the Optimus Chic launching in Europe in November.

LG Optimus One will be available in over 90 countries via 120 partners. It will arrive in most of Europe in October followed by other EMEA and Asia-Pacific countries. LG Optimus Chic will be available in Europe starting in November with other markets in Asia-Pacific to follow soon after.
